DIY Bulk Flower Buckets

If you have a knack for arranging your own floral arrangements, this may be the perfect option for you. Want to DIY your wedding or other event? Have friends who would enjoy getting together to create floral arrangements? This is a great economical option to bring flowers into the lives of your friends & family!
Each DIY Bucket of Blooms are personally selected and packed by our team— from field harvest to processing and hydration… they will arrive in your hands ready to begin the design process. We handpick a nice variety of focal flowers, fillers and foliage. To visualize how many flowers come in a bucket, expect enough stems to fill 3-4 large mouth jars or 6-7 small mouth jars.
If you are a bride and desire to DIY your bridal bouquets, then plan for at least 1 bucket per average-size bouquet so there will be plenty to pick & choose from during the design process. With the surplus blooms you can create corsages and boutonnieres, decorate the cake and/or fill a small vase or two. Some brides may consider having us custom create the important flowers, like bridal bouquets… and DIY the more flexible items like centerpieces.

$115 Curated Colorways DIY Bucket(s)— For the more coordinated inspiration— you may provide our team with up to 2 colors and we will carefully select your stems to harmonize with the mood you are trying to create.

What types of stems can I expect to fill my bulk buckets?
Expect an average— 30% focal flowers, 50% filler flowers, 20% foliage
Varieties listed below are a examples of many flowers we grow at Morningside (we grow over 60 types all season long)
Standard FOCAL Flowers— tulips, anemone, old fashion peony, lisianthus, zinnia, sunflower, hydrangea, lily, poppy, scabiosa, foxglove, phlox, mums, marigold, and more.
Premium FOCAL Flowers— ranunculus, specialty peony, specialty lisianthus, dahlia, astilbe, rose lily, heirloom mums
Fillers— lupine, snapdragons, nigella, monarda, cosmos, billy balls, delphinium, larkspur, ammi, celosia, amaranthus, feverfew, orlaya, yarrow, bupleurum, sedum, cosmos, and many more.
Foliage— lepedium, mint, baptista, bells of ireland, boxwood, grasses, hibiscus, spirea, viburnum, lemon basil, euphorbia, rosemary, etc.
Note: This is a grower’s choice product. We cannot guarantee specific blooms due to seasonality, quality and the every present potential for crop failure— trust us to choose the best flowers for just the right mix.
If you NEED other flowers that we do not grow— like roses, we can place a special order through our wholesaler with a $150 minimum. For smaller quantities you may want to purchase from a brick & mortar florist. We highly recommend Schneider’s Florist (Springfield), Bell’s Flowers (Urbana), Dorcey’s (W Liberty & Belfountaine), Always Blooming (Tipp City & Troy), Lemon Meringue (Piqua). We can personally recommend these florist because they also stock our locally grown flowers weekly!
